Juicing is a great way to get a lot of easy to digest micronutrients into your body. During a week, however, most of us don’t have time for juicing. But comes the weekend and with some planning you can incorporate juicing into your day. I believe, it is best to drink juice in the morning but any time of the day works. To take a full advantage of its nutritional benefits drink juice on an empty stomach and then wait 30 minutes before you eat or drink anything else.
Here is my lunch juice ingredients:
Juice together: 1 cucumber, 1 carrot, 1 banana, handful of parsley, handful of kale, 1 apple, 1 celery, small piece of ginger (1 tangerine is optional). Add 1/2 of freshly squeezed lemon and few drops of flax seed oil into your juice.
Flax seed oil is preferable but you can also use olive oil. Adding some healthy fat is a key for facilitating absorption of lipidsoluble vitamins from the juice. Enjoy!
